Vic Gioscia , philosopher, long time friend and mentor, died this morning. 
On his deathbed, he said:

I didn't want to go
Without telling you
How much
I love you

I'm ashamed
To admit
That I'm afraid to die
But I'm hoping that as I get closer
I'll become less afraid

I am falling back
Into the profound fullness
Of emptiness
From which
All things become
