around our gallery a while back, looking at my framed paintings, shown to
full advantage under track lights, I thought, "These paintings look
like thousands of paintings in the world. I've got to get more of me
into my work." Since then, I have been straining to find a new voice,
to paint in the way only I can paint. Like no other.
As I get older, a day of painting leaves me exhausted. I cannot sustain the high energy level that I could when I was younger. But I know more and I paint more efficiently. I'm onto something. This something is not only authentically me, as far as I know it has never been done before in the history of art. I will unveil the entire series sometime at a junkyard barbeque on October 20, 2007. Below is one example of what I'm talking about.
